Tere Õhtust!
Kui te ei tea, täna on “Multi Lingual Blogging Day” ja “European Day of Languages” ka. Praegu, Wasp proovib Eesti Keele õppida aga seda ei ole kerge. Siiski, see on minu väike kirjand Eesti Keeles. Ma soovin et seda meeldib teile.
Head aega.

Good evening.
If you don’t know, today is Multi-Lingual Blogging Day and also European Day of Languages. Currently, Wasp is trying to learn Estonian but it is not easy. Anyway, this is my little essay in Estonian. I hope you like it.
Good bye.

As an aside, one thing that learning a language has taught me is that my time at school did not include any lessons at all in grammar.
In the past I have tried my hand at German and Dutch which have many similarities to English in terms of structure (they are all related as they belong in the same language group).
Estonian, on the other hand, is not related to much other than Finnish and, distantly, Hungarian. Its structure is unique and relies heavily on a case system containing 14 separate cases which, as I quickly found out when starting to learn, requires knowledge of grammatical terms that I had no idea of.
I will succeed though as it has been a long term goal of mine to be fluent in another language and I still enjoy learning – possibly even more so than when I was at school due to choice rather than compulsion being the driver.
