After three weeks away, returning to the UK is always a wrench but especially so this year when the weather here seems distinctly Autumnal compared with 3 weeks of 30+ degree sunshine.

One thing I really noticed yesterday on the drive back from the airport was the endless precession of road safety signs which clutter the entire length of UK roads and are almost a distraction to driving itself.

Anyway, blogging will resume tomorrow when I have attended to a pile of junk mail and a large bag of laundry. There is also a small matter of having to go to work which will no doubt sap my will to exist within an hour or two of arriving.
