Via Inflation.us, a very good video outlining why the financial crisis is far from over and how the US (and no doubt the rest of us) will probably end up in a full blown currency crisis. The call on Hyperinflation is finely balanced and could just as well be another run at the Great Depression.

• Nearly 40 million Americans bow receiving food stamps.
• Medicare is costing $408 billion annually.
• Benefit payments in 2010 will be higher than total tax revenue.
• US spending on Military bases and operations tops $1 trillion annually

All of which makes the UK’s and Europe’s debt and spending problems somewhat insignificant in terms of scale.
