Wandering around the internet on a lazy Saturday evening, I found the online crime reports page of the Mephis Daily News. Having seen a few mentions of proposed UK crime reporting tools promised by people of various political persuasions they ought to look at this version for a very neat implementation.

As a test, I entered a random street name from the google map provided and found this rather amusingly named crime reported just this week :

You can also switch to a close up satellite view to find the best places to lurk if you fancy a bit of  forcible fondling.
